Ensure Your Creations are Bone Dry Before Use

To achieve the best results, ensure your air-dry clay creations are completely dry before applying the varnish, which can take up to 3 or 4 days depending on the size and thickness of your piece. Apply two layers of the varnish and allow 12 hours for it to fully cure.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Wait for your clay piece to dry completely, for at least 3 days. Step 2: Apply two thick coats of white acrylic primer to the inside, outside, and bottom of your piece, then paint it with the desired color and let it dry for a few hours. Step 3: Apply two thick coats of the gloss varnish to the interior, exterior, and base of your piece, and allow it to set completely between 24 hours.
