Mayco Stroke And Coat glazes are low-fire cone 06 glazes that can be applied to wet clay or ceramic bisque. These glazes are designed to provide a glossy finish after firing in a ceramic kiln. To achieve maximum shine, it is recommended to apply a clear glaze over them before firing.

The glazes can be applied in one coat for a translucent finish or up to three coats for a rich, opaque coverage. These glazes are food-safe, lead-free, and cadmium-free, conforming to ASTM D-4236 standards. They are also AP Certified Non-Toxic and can be intermixed to create your desired shade.

Opaque glaze in 2-ounce bottles can be applied to wet clay or bisqueware fired from Cone 06 to Cone 10. No thinning is required, and the glaze colors can be intermixed to achieve your preferred hue. When applied as a single coat on clay or bisque, the glaze will provide a graceful, translucent finish, or it can be used for a majolica technique. For a rich, opaque coverage, up to three coats can be applied. The glazes are also freeze/thaw stable.
