Mayco Stroke And Coat glazes are low fire cone 06 glazes that can be applied to wet clay or ceramic bisque. After firing in a ceramic kiln, the Stroke And Coat glazes appear glossy. For maximum shine, clear glaze can be applied over them before firing.

The opaque glaze is available in 2-ounce bottles and can be applied to wet clay or bisqueware fired from Cone 06 to Cone 10. No thinning is required. The glaze colors can be intermixed to create the desired shade. Applying one coat on clay or bisque will result in a graceful, translucent finish, or the majolica technique can be used. For a rich, opaque coverage, up to 3 coats can be applied. The glazes are freeze/thaw stable.

When applying the Stroke And Coat glazes, one coat can be used for a translucent finish, while 3 coats will provide a rich, opaque coverage. The glazes are food-safe, lead-free, and cadmium-free, conforming to ASTM D-4236 and being AP Certified Non-Toxic. The colors are also inter-mixable.
