Penguin Pottery introduced the original MDF clay wedging board in 2020. Today, it is an essential tool in the world of pottery equipment and supplies. Our board is made in the USA from water-resistant renewable wood sources using Medex MDF, the highest-quality material in the ceramics industry.

Easy to Carry and Use

We designed our board with a built-in handle to make it easy to carry. Unlike other brands, our board has rounded edges, including the handle, to make it comfortable for your hands. We also avoid adding canvas, which can prevent the accumulation of dry clay dust, a common issue with other mud tools.

Durable and Strong

Made with 3/8" Medex MDF, our board ensures perfect thickness for strength and durability, without being too heavy. It also prevents clay from sticking better than pottery plaster, clay mats, or polymer clay mats.
