The Vallejo Company, registered in New Jersey, U.S.A. in 1965, initially specialized in the manufacture of colors for animated films (cartoons). However, the most sustained expansion of Vallejo began in the nineties, with the introduction of new products directed at the Model painting and Hobby sector. Vallejo's Satin Varnish is a water-based acrylic varnish with a new, improved quick-drying formula and an acrylic resin of extraordinary hardness and permanence. This product protects painted models from dust, scratches, dirt, and humidity. It is important to note that Acrylic Varnish should never be applied until the paint has dried completely.

Vallejo offers two variations of their Satin Varnish: VJ70522, a 17 ml varnish, and VJ26652, a 60 ml satin varnish. These products provide a durable and long-lasting protection for your painted models, ensuring they maintain their vibrant colors and pristine condition.
